The pop country crooner popped up in New York City yesterday for a little Christmas shopping. And who should appear on her arm? Or at least in the general vicinity of her arm?
The ex-husband of the woman who is rumored to be behind Shania's split with producer Robert "Mutt" Lange.

Frederic Thiébaud is the ex of Marie-Anne Thiébaud. Frederic was part of a group of friends Shania was shopping with in the Big Apple, according to People.com.
And while Lange has denied having an affair with Frederic's ex-wife Marie-Anne Thiébaud, who was the manager of Tawin and Lange's chateau in Switzerland, sources tell People.com that the two were indeed involved.
Could Frederic be Shania's Christmas present?
Or are the two more like happy little elf friends just in town to buy some toys?
